Ashwin Alaparthi

Hello! I'm Ashwin, I'm a Computer Science MS student at the University of Pennsylvania.

I'm a SDE Intern at Pattern Inc, and a former Software Engineer at Nutanix.
I'm also working with the Database group at UPenn on a couple of projects, one to optimize multi-level hash joins in databases, and another for hybrid database querying with LLMs.


I'm passionate about distributed systems, operating systems, and databases. If you have any interesting talks, papers, or projects in these areas, I'd love to chat!

I'm also open to roles in Software Engineering, but have a special interest in roles that involve distributed systems, building databases, and systems programming.
